Presentation:
Join us for this month’s presentation by Tom Grundy on Water Distribution System Modeling. Tom will discuss creating a reliable water model and what may be reasonably expected from a model.
Speaker Bio:
Tom is a Carson City native who graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Environmental Resources Engineering and spent 20 years in the public sector focusing on public water systems, capital projects and project permitting. He is a licensed civil engineer and licensed water system operator who has designed and managed projects ranging from single fire hydrants to multi-million dollar transmission mains and complete streets projects. He has extensive experience in water system hydraulics, network analysis and modeling and water system operations, maintenance and repair. These days when he’s not off on an adventure, he can be found in his garage fixing something, taking a walk or simply gazing at a night sky.
