Join us for this month’s presentation by Goska Nichol of Moffat & Nichol. She will be presenting on “QUALITY ISN’T A BINDER ON A SHELF: BORROWING ISO 9001'S SKELETON”.
Speaker Bio:
Malgorzata (Goska) Nichol is the Vice President and Director of Quality & Management Systems at Moffatt & Nichol and is based in Carson City. She holds an MBA and a BS in Civil Engineering (Transportation & Water Resources) from the University of California, Irvine. Goska is a licensed Professional Engineer in several states, including Nevada, California, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
She has over 28 years with Moffatt & Nichol and more than 31 years of total experience in the industry. Goska's technical skills encompass project management, quality control/quality assurance, roadway geometry and drainage design, cost estimating, and preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for a variety of civil engineering projects.
As the Director of Quality & Management Systems, she is responsible for maintaining multiple ISO [ISO: the International Organization for Standardization] certifications across all offices. This is accomplished by developing internal documentation reflecting project delivery activities and operations management activities in addition to successfully completing 3rd party audits of the system.
